Don't Let Your
Story Go Untold!
LET US BE PART OF YOUR FAMILY HISTORY
We very strongly encourage seniors to write about their experiences. They posses irreplaceable knowledge, a history that enhances both families and society.
This will also be an opportunity to tell your family things that you feel they should know about or have wanted to tell them but have not had the opportunity to do so. You may also wish include old photographs, newspaper clippings even copies of certificates or awards that you have won.
Your book will stand as your unique and lasting legacy for future generations.
Everyone has a story to tell, but only seniors have the unique advantage of having personally witnessed decades of history as it has unfolded throughout the years. The perspective, wisdom and insight acquired over a lifetime on so many subjects is simply invaluable. Whether it’s participating in world changing events like our Military veterans or stories of ones own personal family history. What family member would not be thoroughly and completely engaged while reading of how their grandparents met or the childhood accounts of their mothers and fathers as they grew up. Perhaps learning of the trials, tribulations and sacrifices made to guarantee a better life for future generations may serve to make us all just a little more humble.
Documenting your story for others can bring families closer together and provide a bridge to help connect generations. You don't have to be a scholar when writing about your life experiences in your own words. Don't let that be a stumbling block. Minor grammar or spelling errors are easily correct and aren't likely to matter very much to loving family members anyway. Encourage your parents and grandparents to preserve their legacy.
It may be difficult to imagine the transformation of thoughts and memories into an "actual book”. But that's what we do. A quality printed book will be a gift to many generations, don't let your story go untold!
